The CBBS Bylaws are reviewed annually by a Bylaws Committee for possible revisions. Proposed changes are presented to the CBBS Board of Directors for consideration. The CBBS Board of Directors reserves the right to accept, reject, or modify any proposed changes prior to submitting them for approval by the membership.
Beginning in 2014 and extending into 2015, the CBBS Board of Directors worked in conjunction with the Bylaws Committee to revise the bylaws to make them more effective by removing a number of sections that fell into the category of policies and procedures, rather than Bylaws.
The Bylaws were proposed to the membership and approved at the Joint Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada, in June 2015.
CBBS provided new bylaws to the membership for approval at the 2024 Annual Business meeting and they were approved.
